I hope everyone has a great weekend!

I got this from an email and thought I would share with everyone.
Do you run through each day On the fly? When you ask How are you? Do you hear the reply? When the day is done Do you lie in your bed With the next hundred chores Running through your head?
You’d better slow down Don’t dance so fast. Time is short. The music won’t last. Ever told your child, We’ll do it tomorrow? And in your haste, Not see his sorrow? Ever lost touch, Let a good friendship die Cause you never had time To call and say,”Hi”
You’d better slow down. Don’t dance so fast. Time is short. The music won’t last. When you run so fast to get somewhere You miss half the fun of getting there. When you worry and hurry through your day, It is like an unopened gift…. Thrown away.
Life is not a race. Do take it slower Hear the music Before the song is over.
And my personal favorite…Stabby Rip Stab Stab….
Dear blog…Mood…Apethedic…
My life is a black abyss, spiraling downwards…..
Actually my life is one big amusement park right now. The proverbial roller coaster of life. It’s been so long since I’ve posted so this maybe alittle long eh….Ok so..a few things first.. Read More »
Ok, so I’m about to blog on a topic that, quite honestly, isn’t very interesting. Road buddies. Ever been on a trip and had that one person that you seem to follow, or seemed to follow you? Ya know, the one that is always around, and you pass once or twice, then they pass you once or twice? A road buddy.
Well, on my way to Greenville, TX last weekend to see my daughter’s karate tournament (more on that in a minute), I had a road buddy. Well, Maryanne and I had a road buddy. Sitting in a sea of vehicles we grew bored, so Maryanne puts on the ONE CD she has in her car that actually rocks. Kid Rock. Ever seen a short woman rap? HA!! Awesomeness!!
Anyway, I digress. I am sitting in the passenger side, jamming out to Maryanne proving her street cred, when a young couple pulls up beside me. They are laughing and pointing at me, giving me a thumbs up. Only a second of hesitation occurs before I do the most logical thing I can think of. I give them the devil’s horns of rock motion with my hands, and proceed to stick out my tongue and headbang. Of course. They became my road buddy.
Moving on. Daughter… karate tournament. It was her first tournament ever. She was quite nervous looking. How did she do? First place in both weapons kata and sparring! Woo hoo!! Of course, now I need to be scared that my 7 year old daughter can kick my ass with a pair of sais.

(made you look!)
So one day last week I walked out of the house in the morning with my shirt on inside-out. I noticed this when I was backing out of the driveway and looked over my shoulder to see the inside seam of my shirt. I don’t know what’s worse: walking out the door with my shirt inside-out, or putting the car in park in the drive way, taking it off and putting it back on again the right way. I didn’t really think much of it at the time, and I guess no one really saw me except the trees. And I don’t mind flashing the trees.
Viva los boobies!
